The Supported Needs & Disability Office is situated in Suite 955 (Building 9, Floor 5), Europort and falls directly under the Chief Minister and as such, this Office is required to debrief with the Chief Minister on matters pertaining to disability.
The purpose of this Office is to ensure that there is a cohesive and streamlined approach to disability across all government departments. This office will achieve this by researching, writing, implementing and then policing a National Disability Strategy that will include every government department.
The office has also been tasked with reviewing Disability Act 2017.
Disability Clinics are also hosted by this office for members of the public requiring disability advice or support.
