GMS Gaming, GMS Lottery Platform, GMsys, Playteach
The operators of the following gambling URLs (www.gms717.com; https://www.gmsloto.com) claim that they are licensed by both the UK Gambling Commission and the Gibraltar Licensing Authority but it has no association or legitimate affiliation with any licensed operator. It has appropriated the names at the head of this warning.
The controllers of these websites have made crude attempts to associate the website with a legitimate operator and platform provider.
We believe it to be primarily aimed at customers in India. Customers are asked to deposit minimum amounts to wager in a lottery, but then asked for more monies to be deposited before winnings are released.
The Gibraltar Gambling Commissioner is making further enquiries, but consumers are warned that they should not use these URLs and should not be duped into sending further monies in the hope of winnings being released.

Atari Casino
Misleading reports have appeared in the gambling industry press regarding the licensing of Atari Casino (a casino accepting crypto currency) in Gibraltar.
A company (Atari Chain Ltd), associated with this casino, has recently been registered in Gibraltar. This registration was not notified to the Gambling Commissioner as a company pursuing the objectives of providing gambling services. Had the registration been notified, it is likely that an objection to registration would have been made in the public interest.
For the avoidance of doubt Atari Casino has neither applied for or been granted a gambling licence in Gibraltar and potential consumers should be aware of the online casino's unlicensed and unregulated status.
Potential investors should carefully read the company's own disclaimers regarding regulatory approval and control in documentation issued by it.

The Gambling Licensing Authority, on advice from the Gambling Commissioner, has today suspended the gambling operating licenses of Addison Global trading under the brand name Moplay.
The Gambling Commissioner has been working with Company executives on restructuring proposals put forward by the shareholder of the Company, who at all times have assured the Gambling Commissioner and Government of their intention to support the business and its further development. These proposals, which included honouring all outstanding liabilities, have not materialised and the Gambling Commissioner is no longer able to accept that the firm is able to meet its licensing conditions.
It is most disappointing that the promised financial support from the shareholder has failed to materialise as the firm has not received the financial support it was projected to receive when first licensed. Whilst the Directors will have to address the solvency issues, a decision has been made to suspend the relevant licences to protect consumers from any further detriment.

https://www.pulsz.com/ is a legitimate social gaming site which has a corporate association with Gibraltar. However, it is not licensed in Gibraltar as it is not real money gambling under legal definitions of gambling in Gibraltar (or indeed in most US States). It is wrongly described by some sources (not the company itself) as being licensed in Gibraltar, but it is essentially a free to play site, but with options for consumers to improve their experience by obtaining “gold coins” and gaining entry into a “sweepstake” (essentially a “free prize draw”) where the chances of winning are very limited. Customers can obtain “gold coins” for free, but may be induced to spend money on the site on the basis that they believe they will obtain more “gold coins” (essentially tokens). Presentation of the product has led some customers to believe this is a gambling website where participation can result in large rewards. It is no such thing and consumers are, when they make purchases, paying for digital entertainment and they should not anticipate any rewards for playing on this site. Consumers should spend no more than they can afford and should approach the activity on the basis that they are not gambling and are unlikely to receive any prize as their deposits are not gambling stakes. Customers should not be misled by any affiliate marketing that seeks to persuade them that this is a gambling experience or any promises of large financial rewards.
