Public Health Information Analysis

The Public Health Department has an Information Analyst whose role is to collect, process and analyse statistical data; this then forms the basis of reports that support the assessment of health needs, health strategy and other relevant public health agenda. The Public Health Information Analyst produces statistical analyses for the GHA Annual Report, the GHA Health & Lifestyle Survey and periodic topic reports. The Analyst is also responsible for the quality of data, particularly the Cancer Registry, the Births register, the Deaths register and other databases managed by the Public Health department.
