Economic Development, Telecommunications and the Gibraltar Savings Bank (GSB)
Foreign Investment is overseen by the Minister working closely with the Ministry for Business in order to develop sustainable inward investment in keeping with Gibraltar economic development
The Gibraltar Government is currently the 100% owner of the main telecommunications company Gibtelecom which provides international communications, bandwidth for the gaming industry and last mile phone connections as well as Internet infrastructure for the private and business requirements. Additionally Gibtelecom provides the main mobile phone network.
The Gibraltar Savings bank provides savings opportunities backed by the Government.
