EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST - WORKS IN THE CEMETERY

 

His Majesty’s Government of Gibraltar invites expressions of interest (EOI) from Preferred Suppliers on HM Government of Gibraltar’s Supplier Network Portal for  the provision of call-off works at the North Front Cemetery on a rota basis, or following a mini-competition (quotes) between suitably qualified organisations  for a period not exceeding one year.

 

Works performed under these call-off rota/mini-competitions works will be charged at standard industry rates and performed to best industry standards. However, there is no guarantee of work.

 

Interested parties should be able to demonstrate their expertise and experience, or that of their employees, in the following:

 

  1. The construction and repairs of vaults, niches, columbariums, headstones etc or similar structures
  2. Repairs and maintenance by way of minor works to paths,
  3. Repairs and maintenance to walls, toilets, and other minor construction works

 

The following general criteria will be taken into account in assessing the EOIs submitted. Additional criteria may be included in later stages of the process.

 

  1. Experience in the satisfactory performance of similar works, references from three clients will be required in line with works outlined in points 1-3 above,
  2. Technical and operational expertise, including but not limited to the number of stone masons employed, and ability to ensure the successful delivery of the works;
  3. Company and directors track record.

 

All supporting documentation must be in English.

 

Organisations who have not achieved Preferred Supplier status may respond; however, their participation in the call-off rota would be conditional on their achieving the aforementioned status.
