CHILD WELFARE GRANT – ASSESSABLE INCOME FORMS 2024
The Department of Social Security is reviewing Child Welfare Grant payments and will be sending an Assessable Income form for 2024 to all recipients.
How your income will be assessed
It is essential that you complete the Assessable Income 2024 forms to include details such as:
- The status of your spouse/civil partner/partner.
- Maintenance payments, if applicable.
- Tax status, for instance, the Income Tax P7 certificate.
Children over 15 years of age
Those with children over the age of 15 years will also receive a School Declaration form, which should be completed in respect of Academic Year 2024/2025. Please note that the School Declaration form should be completed annually once any child attains the age of 15 years. If the child/children attends an institution other than a local school, then we will require proof of admission or attendance.
Returning Forms
These forms should be completed and returned to either:
- By post: 79-80 Harbours Walk, The New Harbours
- Email: childwelfaregrant@gibraltar.gov.gi
By the deadline specified in the letter.
Failure to return the accurately completed forms by the deadline may result in the suspension of your Child Welfare Grant payments.
