The Young Shakespeare Company entertained over 2,000 students from Gibraltar’s upper primary and secondary schools with two daily performances of 'Macbeth' last week. The performances included an interactive session at the start, followed by a modern-day take on the play, with the cast casting several students from the audience in specific roles.

Additionally, a dedicated session was held exclusively for LSF students, providing an opportunity for full engagement with and enjoyment of the experience in a focused setting.

The group also hosted a workshop at the John Mackintosh Hall Theatre as part of Gibraltar Cultural Services’ development and educational programme. The workshop, which was attended by students from Bayside School, GAMPA, and Theatre Makers, focused on 'acting Shakespeare' and gave students the opportunity to work with professional actors.
