Westside School is proud to share the remarkable efforts of its Year 9 cohort, who have gone above and beyond in their dedication to helping the community. Coordinated by Pastoral Leader (ag) Mr E. Harrison, the pupils not only volunteered their time but also gathered food items to create a total of 20 hampers.
These hampers, filled with essential and thoughtful provisions, have been donated to the EV Foundation, a local charitable organisation committed to supporting individuals and families in need. This initiative showcases the compassion, teamwork and community spirit that Westside family strive to embody.
“We are incredibly proud of our Year 9 pupils for their commitment and kindness,” said Mr Harrison. “Their willingness to dedicate their time and resources demonstrates the values we uphold at Westside. These hampers will make a real difference in the lives of many this Christmas.”
The school would like to thank all those involved, including pupils, parents and staff, for their support in making this project a success. Westside remains committed to fostering a sense of responsibility and empathy in its pupils, preparing them to contribute positively to society.
