Water Mains Failure at Gibraltar Airport - 592/2025

Gibraltar Airport suffered the complete failure of a water main in Departures in the early hours of this morning.
All the relevant technical, operational and cleaning staff were recalled to deal with what was a major incident.
Some areas of the building have suffered damage and work continues to restore systems and services to be able to resume operations as soon as possible.
Gibraltar Airport want to thank passengers for their patience and apologise for the inconvenience. The Airport want to reassure passengers that work continues with all resources available to ensure that they can operate in a safe and secure manner.
