Vacancy for Junior Political Officer – Gibraltar House in London

Gibraltar Strand Management Ltd invites applications for the post of Junior Political Officer at the Gibraltar House in London, for immediate commencement.

The successful applicant will be engaged subject to the successful completion of a one-year probationary period.

Supporting the work of Gibraltar House in London, under the direction of the UK representative Head of Gibraltar and the Executive Director of Gibraltar House. The successful candidate must be flexible, proactive, and able to handle confidential information with discretion and may require working outside standard office hours.

It will be an advantage, though not essential, that the successful applicant is educated to degree level in a relevant subject area.

It is a requirement that the successful applicant makes their own arrangements to live in London at the point of taking up employment.

The salary scale for this post is: £24,865; £25,316; £26,949; £27,812; £28,699; £29,622; £30,798; £31,520; £32,257; £33,014; £33,791. The successful candidate will be placed at the most appropriate point within the salary scale, taking into account their relevant experience, qualifications, skills and competencies.
