Vacancy for Financial Crime Investigator

The Gibraltar Development Corporation invites applications for the post of Financial Crime Investigator. Applicants must, by virtue of their citizenship, be entitled to take up employment in Gibraltar, and are, or on employment will be, resident in Gibraltar.

 

The Financial Crime Investigator will be responsible for investigating a range of serious criminal offences including money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, bribery, corruption, sanctions evasion, and other complex economic crimes or conduct, asset recovery investigations and managing complex investigations relating thereto.

 

Location: Ministry of Justice, 771 Europort; Government Law Offices, 40 Town Range; Customs House; New Mole House, Rosia Road, Gibraltar or any other location as may be required.

 

Applicants must meet the essential requirements stated in the Job and Person Specification.

 

The post is on contract terms for an initial period of three years and thereafter renewable based on performance. Salary will be based on experience in the salary scale: £36,877; £38,116; £41,249; £42,919; £43,777; £44.655; £45,549; £47,244.
