Vacancy for Community Service Officer
The Government of Gibraltar invites applications for the post of Community Service Officer at the Ministry of Justice. Applicants must, by virtue of their citizenship, be entitled to take up employment in Gibraltar and are, or on employment will be, resident in Gibraltar.
Applicants must possess:
i. Five GCSE (or GCE ‘O’ Level) passes at grades 9 to 4 or A to C grade; or five CSEs grade 1, two of which must be in English Language and Mathematics or;
ii. A full GNVQ (Intermediate), BTEC (Intermediate) or (First Diploma) together with two GCSE (or GCE ‘O’ Level) passes at grades 9 to 4 or A to C grade, or two CSEs grade 1 in English Language and Mathematics.
iii. In addition to the above qualification requirements, a valid driving license, which covers towing a trailer is required, or agree to attain the necessary category to enable this within the probationary period.
The salary for the Community Service Officer post will be payable at the rate of £30,727. The salary ranges from £30,727 to £39,899.
