Applications are invited for appointment as School Counsellor in the Department of Education. Applicants must, by virtue of their citizenship, be entitled to take up employment in Gibraltar and on taking up appointment they must be resident in Gibraltar.

The post holder will be required to take over the full range of duties of the School Counsellor Service and must possess all the requirements as stated in the person specification attached to include the following;

• Minimum of a diploma in counselling;
• Current registration as a member of the BACP or equivalent;

This appointment will initially be on contract terms for a period of 1 year with a possibility of being made permanent and carries the following salary scale: £25,550, £26,361; £27,221; £28,124; £29,042; £30,192.
