Vacancies for Audit Technician - Gibraltar Audit Office

The Government of Gibraltar invites applications for the post of Audit Technician in the Gibraltar Audit Office from members of the public who hold the right of abode in Gibraltar (i.e. in possession of a Gibraltar red ID card).

Applicants must possess as a minimum either:

 

  • a degree in accountancy or other related subject or equivalent qualifications or higher; or
  • a degree and employed in an accounting/auditing environment and be studying towards the full professional qualification under a UK CCAB body; or
  • a pass in the final of the AAT/CAT examinations or equivalent, or higher qualification.

 

Applicants should have ideally achieved at least the first four papers of a UK CCAB body and must be studying with a view of attaining the full professional accountancy qualification.

In addition, applicants must be in possession of five GCSE passes at A, B or C grade, BTEC (or equivalent). Two passes must be in English Language and Mathematics.

The successful candidates will be subject to a one-year probationary period.

The salary of the post ranges from £27,849 to £37,846 per annum.
