Gibraltar Airport continues to deal with the effects of a major water mains failure which occurred in the early hours of this morning. Work continues in restricted technical areas, including the server room that supports the Gibraltar Airport website. While the site remains visible, it cannot currently be updated with the latest information.

Significant flooding caused damage in Departures and other parts of the terminal. Clean-up operations have progressed well, and most public areas are now clear.

Inbound flights are being processed, with passengers temporarily directed through alternative facilities. Efforts are under way to reopen check-in and baggage reclaim as soon as possible.

The Airport thanks passengers for their patience and apologises for the disruption. All available resources are being used to restore safe operations quickly.
