UK and Gibraltar Ministers meet to discuss EU-UK (Gibraltar) Treaty work and routine contingency planning - 249/2025

The Deputy Chief Minister Dr Joseph Garcia, CMG, MP, had a virtual meeting today with Stephen Doughty MP, Minister of State (Europe, North America and Overseas Territories) at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office.
The two Ministers have met on several occasions over the past few years in different capacities and already know each other well.
The Deputy Chief Minister said:
“It was a pleasure to reconnect with Minister Doughty today to co-chair the No-negotiated Outcome (NNO) Board. The UK and Gibraltar are resolutely committed to reaching an EU-UK treaty, but we are also working together to review contingency planning."
