Gibraltar Cultural Services, on behalf of the Ministry for Culture, recently delivered a successful Sound and Technical Workshop as part of this year’s Youth Arts Jamboree. The hands-on course attracted a strong turnout from young individuals eager to develop their skills in the technical and sound aspects of live performances.

The workshop, delivered by Technicians Ed Lawson and Karl Celecia, offered participants a unique opportunity to gain practical experience and insight into the industry, from setup and soundchecks to managing live events. Attendees were able to apply their newly acquired knowledge to actual performances and setup for the occasion, adding a dynamic and immersive element to their learning.

This initiative is part of GCS’s ongoing commitment to nurture young talent and encourage interest in the arts through accessible, engaging and educational experiences.
