Rent and Repair Scheme a Huge Success -726/2026

The Minister for Housing is delighted to confirm that the Rent and Repair scheme has finally delivered. The seventeen successful applicants have been identified and called, and letters will follow to those who were not successful.
The Department for Housing is very thankful for the meticulous task which has been carried out by the Housing Allocation Committee.
The Minister for Housing, the Hon Pat Orfila, said: ‘Congratulations to all the successful applicants who are looking forward to beginning works on their homes. I would like to thank everyone who has shown an interest in this scheme and look forward to making announcements regarding the plans for a Rent and Repair Phase 2 in the near future.’
