The Government of Gibraltar invites Expressions of Interest from parties who may be able to provide a Main Street–facing space within a premises on Main Street, Gibraltar, suitable for use as a Tourist Information Office.

The proposed space will be used to deliver visitor information services and to showcase Gibraltar as a destination under the Visit Gibraltar brand.

Premises Requirements

Interested parties should note that the premises, or designated tourist information area within a premises, should meet the following requirements:

• Be located on Main Street, Gibraltar, with direct frontage and visibility onto Main Street.
• Provide sufficient space to:
• Display tourist information materials.
• Showcase Visit Gibraltar branding.
• Accommodate visitor enquiries and footfall.
• Be suitable for operation during standard Tourist Information Office opening hours.
• Include kitchen facilities suitable for staff use.
• Include bathroom/toilet facilities suitable for staff use.
• Be compliant with all relevant health, safety, and accessibility requirements.
• Have, or be capable of obtaining, approval from the Town Planning Department for use as a Tourist Information Office, together with any other required permissions, licences, or consents.

Shared or subdivided spaces within a larger premises may be considered, provided the tourist information area has clear visibility, accessibility, and operational independence.

Submission Procedure

Submissions should take the form of initial Expressions of Interest and should include, as a minimum:

• Location and address of the premises.
• Description of the available space, including approximate size.
• Confirmation of planning status and relevant approvals, or the ability to obtain such approvals.
• Basic conceptual plans or outline proposals, including preliminary layout plans or sketches illustrating the proposed tourist information area.
• Indicative availability timeline.
• Any relevant commercial terms including proposed monthly rent and proposed length of lease agreement.

All Expressions of Interest, together with supporting documentation, should be marked: “Tourist Information Office Expressions of Interest”, and submitted to meect@gibraltar.gov.gi by no later than Friday 20^th  February 2026.

Applications will be reviewed after the closing date. HMGoG reserves the right to reject any or all submissions.

HMGoG may enter into negotiations with one or more parties following the submission process. By submitting an Expression of Interest, the applicant consents to their name being published in any future tender award notices.
