In order to facilitate the issue of International Driving Permits (idp), HM Government of Gibraltar has provided the following link on the gibraltar.gov.gi website;

By clicking on this link, the user will be directed to the relevant page on the government’s egov portal on which the application can be made.  Persons already registered on the egov portal will be able to make the application immediately, whilst persons not registered will be taken through the registration process prior to applying for the international driving permit. 

The user will be required to enter their Gibraltar issued driving licence number and will be able to upload a recent photo as well as make payment of the £6 issue fee.  After the application has been processed the international driving permit will be sent to the applicant’s place of residence.
