Notice of Removal of Personal Items from Beaches - 19/2026

HM Government of Gibraltar advises members of the public that all personal belongings left on beach areas must be removed by no later than Sunday 15 February 2026.
This includes, but is not limited to, kayaks, canoes, boards, storage boxes, bags and bundled items, whether these are chained to railings or walls or left unsecured.
The removal of these items is necessary to prevent damage during the winter months, reduce the accumulation of refuse which can attract vermin, and allow cleaning contractors to carry out proper maintenance of Gibraltar’s beaches for public enjoyment.
Any items remaining on beach areas after this date will be removed and disposed of.
