Norovirus outbreak at Elderly Residential Services - 503/2025

Elderly Residential Services are currently experiencing an outbreak of norovirus, which is suspected to have originated from a symptomatic visitor.
Norovirus is a gastrointestinal illness that can be particularly dangerous for those with increased vulnerabilities. Anyone who has any symptoms of diarrhoea or vomiting should not visit the GHA or ERS for 48 hours after their symptoms have stopped. This is the best way to keep loved ones safe and stop the virus spreading through the community.
