Minister for Equality, Employment, Culture and Tourism, the Hon Christian Santos GMD MP, met with dancers from the Gibraltar National Dance Organisation (GNDO) to congratulate them in person on their success at the International Dance Organisation (IDO) 2024 World Show Dance Championships held in November.

Gibraltar ranked extremely well at the IDO; The Junior Male soloists achieved World Champion and Vice World Champion titles. Representatives from the Rock placed well in many of the other categories competed in, reaching the finals in the Formation category for the first time. 18 dancers become Vice World Champions Junior.

Minister Santos also praised GNDO President Wendy Garro and Vice President Gerald Rodriguez for their efforts in providing the platform for so many Gibraltarian dancers to experience performing on an international stage.
