Following their achievements at the weekend the Minister for Sport, The Hon Leslie Bruzon, has sent a message of congratulations to the Gibraltar Darts Association for their success at the Copa Andalucia:

“Any Gibraltarian success is to be applauded but to win a senior tournament with three junior players and then for one of these to reign supreme in the individual senior event is fantastic!

“My warmest congratulations to the team made up by Justin Broton, Ethan Pulham, Joey Andrades and Nico Bado, and to Nico for his outstanding performance in the individual event also.

“It is another example of the excellent development work undertaken by the GDA.

“My congrats to all”.

The team was successful beating a team from Pizarro in the final, with Nico Bado following suit in the singles event.
