Minister for Culture, The Hon. Christian Santos GMD MP would like to congratulate Lewis Llamas on his success at the Sussex Festival of Performing Arts.

Lewis was the overall winner of the 23^rd Gibraltar International Dance Festival (GIDF) in 2025 and was subsequently selected to represent Gibraltar at the Sussex Festival.

A member of The Dance Collective, Lewis took part in the festival with three dance routines choreographed by Caitlin Rodriguez, winning the gold medal for his contemporary solo and two silver medals for his lyrical and jazz solos.

Minister Santos said: “I am always so proud of any achievement by Gibraltarians, whether on home ground or further afield. Lewis is certainly leaving his mark in the dance world already and I look forward to following his career in the future.”
