Minister for Education, Environment and Heritage, John Cortes, last week addressed a group of students from the University of Granada at the University of Gibraltar. The visitors included undergraduate Geography students and European Studies Master’s students, accompanied by their lecturers.
Minister Cortes spoke on a wide range of topics relating to Gibraltar, including its environment, heritage, and political landscape, drawing on his extensive experience across various areas of his career. He also answered numerous questions from the students, who were keen to learn about the reality of life in Gibraltar, as well as the Rock’s political, social, and economic aspirations.
The visit, which also included a tour of Gibraltar and the Upper Rock, forms part of an annual educational exchange organised by the University of Granada.
