The Minister for Health and Care, the Hon Gemma Arias-Vasquez, has today launched a new Primary Care Centre (PCC) Patient Feedback Survey, which will serve as an important tool in informing the ongoing reform process of the PCC being led by the PCC Taskforce.
The survey is designed to gather meaningful feedback from patients who have recently used PCC services, covering key areas such as:
Ease of appointment booking
Waiting times
Duration of consultations
Overall satisfaction
The final question also allows patients to suggest improvements.
This initiative builds on the recent progress delivered by the PCC Taskforce, chaired by Minister Arias-Vasquez, such as the introduction of a dedicated Sick Note Line and pre-appointment reminder calls, both of which have increased appointment availability.
The survey will remain open throughout September 2025, allowing ample time for the public to participate. All responses will be collated and presented to the PCC Taskforce to support policy development in this area.

A hard copy version is also available at the PCC reception. It is open to all individuals who have attended a GP appointment in recent months. Responses will remain anonymous and confidential.

Today we are launching a PCC patient feedback survey that will assist us at the PCC taskforce in developing further policies to improve the PCC. The survey also allows for suggestions on how we can improve the service. I would like to encourage everyone who has recently visited the PCC to take five minutes to complete the survey.”
