Major Road Resurfacing Program – 2025 / 2026

As part of HM Government of Gibraltar’s commitment to improve the condition of our roads, the following roads will be resurfaced over coming weeks:. 

• Line Wall Road
• Cemetery Road
• Waterport Road

Works will start as from Monday 10 November 2025 for a period not exceeding 3 weeks. Works will be done during the hours of 6:00pm to midnight during weekdays, and as from 8:00am during weekends. Traffic flows will be controlled by operatives using stop and go handheld signals and or temporary traffic lights. Temporary advance diversions and road works signs will be placed accordingly on the approach to the works.

The Government would like to take this opportunity to apologise to the General Public for any inconvenience that these works may cause to them.
