The Department of the Environment, Sustainability, Climate Change and Heritage, invites applications for the following posts:

• Beach Lifeguards

• Pool Lifeguards

• Beach Attendants

from members of the public who hold the right of abode in Gibraltar (i.e., in possession of a Gibraltar Red ID card).

Application forms together with a vetting form can be obtained from the Government of Gibraltar website at www.gibraltar.gov.gi/press/official-notices.

Application forms must be submitted to the Chief Executive Officer at the Department of the Environment via email at: beaches.environment@gibraltar.gov.gi by no later than Friday 10^th April 2026.

Additionally, completed Royal Gibraltar Police vetting forms, along with copies of identification and proof of address, must be submitted with your application form by the closing date. For clarification on the RGP's requirements regarding acceptable documents, please refer to ‘Section 4 – Proof of Identity’ within the vetting form.
