HM Customs Drugs Arrest - 554/2019

Officers of HM Customs Flexible Anti-Smuggling Team have arrested two men, both in their thirties, on suspicion of being in possession of 80 grams of cocaine. One of them is local whilst the other is a British national resident in Spain. The arrests took place yesterday morning in the area of Waterport Road. A private residence was then searched and cash was seized under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2015. Both men have been released on bail to appear at a later date whilst investigations continue.
