Her Worship the Mayor, Ms Carmen Gomez GMD hosted a reception on Thursday 20^th June in honour of Bosom Buddies, with a Surprise for Ms Sonia Golt as Founder for her dedication to the organisation.

Her Worship expressed gratitude to Sonia in her speech for her unending efforts and her caring and unstoppable energy and inspiration. She commended her for bringing about so much hope to victims of breast cancer and making them feel good about themselves, despite their trials and tribulations.

Two members from the Bosom Buddies also gave speeches, presenting Sonia with a bouquet of flowers and a presentation of photos and videos from past Bosom Buddies events.

The guestlist was composed of all past and present Bosom Buddies and families.

It was an enjoyable evening for all and a very successful surprise.
