Applications are invited for awards tenable in the United Kingdom (including funding for distance learning courses) under the Educational Awards Regulations, from persons who:

1. Are British Citizens or other EU nationals who are resident in Gibraltar.
2. Have attained the age of 18 by 1 September 2020.
3. Have been ordinarily resident in Gibraltar for a minimum period of 5 years immediately prior to the commencement of the course.
4. Have been attending a school in Gibraltar or in the United Kingdom, or has attended such a school.

Important Note:

Persons applying for ‘A’ level or other equivalent courses will not be considered.

Application forms must be submitted online via www.education.gov.gi. The application form and relevant documentation must reach the Department of Education no later than 15:30 on Wednesday 15th July 2020.

Applications for funding for Discretionary Awards

Application forms for Discretionary Award applications must be submitted online via www.education.gov.gi. The Application form and relevant documentation must reach the Department of Education no later than 15:30 on Wednesday 15th July 2020.

Applications for funding  for Distance Learning courses

Application forms for Distance Learning courses must be submitted online via www.education.gov.gi. The Application form and relevant documentation must reach the Department of Education no later than 15:30 on Wednesday 15th July 2020.

Existing Distance Learning Award holders are asked to complete the Distance Learning form available online.

Application for Continuation of Studies

Application forms for continuation of studies must be submitted online via www.education.gov.gi. The Application form and relevant documentation must be received by the Department of Education in order for the individual’s funding for the 2020/2021 academic year to be processed.
