Expressions of interest for registration on the Department of Education’s Non-Permanent Qualified Teacher list

Applications for expressions of interest are invited for registration on the Department of Education’s Non-Permanent Qualified Teacher list. Those who wish to express an interest to register must, by virtue of their citizenship, be entitled to take up employment in Gibraltar and on taking up appointment they must be resident in Gibraltar.

1. Applicants must have attained Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) under DoE (UK) regulations or have attained Gibraltar Qualified Teacher Status (GQTS) or be completing their training and attaining this status before 1 September 2023. Those applicants who have not obtained GQTS are reminded that this is also a requirement and should complete the online form at education.gov.gi.

2. Applicants should note that the process of registration does not require them to attend an interview.

5. Applications must be submitted to the Human Resources Manager, through email at recruitment@gibraltar.gov.gi, by no later than 4:30 pm on Tuesday 2 May 2023.
