The Gibraltar Port Authority reminds all port users that the East Side Project exclusion zone remains fully in force. As per Local Notice to Mariners NO 4 of 2026 – Works around east side reclamation (Water side) this can be found in our website www.gibraltarport.com
The exclusion zone is clearly marked by cardinal buoys and silt booms. However, users are advised that the silt booms may be difficult to spot, particularly in certain weather and light conditions.
All vessels and water users are required to remain outside the marked exclusion zone at all times to ensure the safety of personnel, navigation, and ongoing works.
Gibraltar Port Authority also reminds all port users of the speed limit within the harbour and 150 meters from the sea shore as being 5 knots.
Failure to comply with the exclusion zone or speeding will result in enforcement action being taken against individuals found in breach of these requirements
