Due to our geographical nature, Gibraltar boasts entry points via sea, land and air. Needless to say that this comes with its challenges for law enforcement. The responsibility for the cross-border movement of goods falls exclusively on HM Customs.

HM Customs is looking for truthful and trustworthy individuals with high moral values who, with the right training, will be provided with the appropriate skill set to help achieve our goals.

With hard work, you will also be given the opportunity to transfer between sections to demonstrate your abilities in areas such as Goods Classification, Front-line Work at all our entry points, Investigations and Intelligence, IT, Training, Covert Operations and Dog Detection unit.

• Initial Salary Range: £21,674 to £34,954;
• Successful candidates will join one of the Government’s existing contributory pension schemes;
• Applicants must possess five GCSE passes or equivalent at grades A-C or Grades 4-9, three of which must be in English Language, Mathematics and Spanish or an equivalent or higher qualification such as a University degree which supersedes these qualifications (a degree or equivalent qualification used in lieu of English, Spanish and/or Mathematics at GCSE must demonstrably be shown to contain enough content in this respect in to qualify);
• Applicants must possess a valid B drivers licence.
• All applicants will be required to undertake an entrance exam and participate in activities organised by our Human Resources Department. The assessment process will be stringent given that we are looking for a range of skill sets and abilities, so expect to be challenged;
