The Textiles department at Westside recently showcased their creativity and festive spirit by organising a special project in which children designed and crafted Christmas aprons and stockings. These handmade creations were offered as unique Christmas gifts for sale at the school’s main entrance during morning arrivals.
The initiative proved to be a wonderful way to celebrate the holiday season while making a difference. All proceeds from the sales were donated to Father Charlie’s Soup Kitchen, supporting vital services for those in need within the community.
This project highlights the school’s commitment to fostering creativity, compassion and community engagement. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to this meaningful cause.
