His Majesty’s Government of Gibraltar (HMGoG) invites applications from individuals, organisations and businesses registered in Gibraltar interested in submitting a tender bid to secure a lease over a commercial unit at Lathbury Barracks Industrial Park.

CONDITIONS AND IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• The Unit is part of the Lathbury Barracks Industrial Park.
• The Unit has an approximate internal area of 17.5m2 (189ft2).
• Applicants interested in submitting a tender bid will need to complete an Application Form (see below) specifying the cash premium sum they are willing to bid to secure a lease over the premises and the specific use to which the premises will be put.  Both will be considered when making the award.  
• The successful applicant will be granted a 21-year underlease from Gibraltar Commercial Property Company Limited (the Lessor) on standard commercial terms and conditions, which will impose obligations (such as, but not limited to) for:
  158. the payment of an initial monthly rent of £158.00 (subject to review after 3 years by RPI)
  159. the payment of rates (to be assessed according to the actual use)
  160. the payment of service charges (initially set at £43.71 per month).

• Subletting of the Unit will not be permitted.

• The successful applicant will be required to cover its own legal costs for the transaction and the registration of all relevant documentation.
• The successful applicant will be required to cover all fit out costs including those of connecting utilities.
• Proof of registration of the organisation/business will have to be provided by the successful applicant.
• Viewings will be arranged by appointment only and limited to small groups.

Application Forms should be completed in full and include all the required information. Incomplete Application Forms will not be considered.

Application Forms are to be submitted sealed and marked “Tender for Commercial Unit 30 Lathbury Barracks”, addressed to HM Government of Gibraltar and deposited in the relevant Tender Box at the offices of Land Property Services Limited, Suite 6B Leanse Place, 50 Town Range, Gibraltar, to be received not later than noon on Friday 22^nd May 2026. Submissions received late or not delivered as set out above will not be considered. Envelopes will remain sealed until after the closing date. HMGoG reserves the right to reject any or all applications.
