Beaches will be ready for the season this weekend - 407/2024

Work has been proceeding apace under the supervision of the Department of Environment to have all our beaches ready for the weekend, which marks the start of the official bathing season.
All the beaches have been cleaned and re-profiled as necessary, and surrounding areas maintained and painted as required. The walkway at Catalan Bay is being extensively refurbished and other improvements have included new tables at Little Bay and a new platform at Camp Bay, which had been destroyed during a recent storm (the steps to the sea from that platform are under construction and will shortly be in place).
All is nearly set for Gibraltar’s summer to begin in earnest!
