The Minister for Transport, Technical Services and Infrastructure John Cortes last week held the latest of his regular meetings with developers and contractors working in the Bayside area, and utilities providers who will service the developments.
These meetings serve to coordinate works at the various sites in the Bayside area and are aimed at minimising inconvenience to the public and maximising efficiency.
Representatives from One Bayside, Elysium and the new GFA Stadium were present, as well as the Technical Services, Transport and Environment Departments, Aquagib, Gibelec and Gibtelecom.
Minister John Cortes said: “Co-ordination and forward planning are key to projects progressing well without gaps or duplication, and with the least possible inconvenience to the community. These meetings help to achieve this, and I will continue to hold them regularly for as long as necessary.”
