The Foreign Minister of the Government of the Kingdom of Spain, José Manuel Albares, will receive the Chief Minister of His Majesty’s Government of Gibraltar, Hon Fabian Picardo KC MP, at the Viana Palace in Madrid tomorrow, Wednesday the 22nd April 2026 at 4pm. The Minister for Business, the Hon Gemma Arias-Vasquez and the Attorney General, Michael Llamas CMG KC, will attend with the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister will answer questions from the press after the meeting. He is in Madrid to address the prestigious "Foro Europa" on Thursday at 9am. On Thursday night Mr Picardo will, once again, appear on "La Noche en 24 Horas", the current affairs programme hosted by Xabi Fortes on the Spanish National Broadcaster's 24-hour rolling news channel. Mr Fortes will also introduce the Chief Minister to the Foro Europa audience that morning.
