EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST

His Majesty’s Government of Gibraltar (HMGoG) invites expressions of interest from developers, investors or organisations interested in developing Airport Hangar Facilities at the Gibraltar Airport to provide services to all airlines.

Proposals must take into account all planning considerations (including civil aviation requirements) related to the area and the use, height and construction type of any new buildings which may be permitted to be developed. The extent of the area to be demised is shaded in red on the above image for indicative purposes only. The boundary of the site will need to be finalised should a successful applicant be identified during this Expressions of Interest process.

Interested parties should understand that submissions need only be initial expressions of interest but should include basic details of any concepts including preliminary layout plans. They should also state the level of premium that would be offered for the grant of a 21-year lease if the submission is selected by HMGoG. HMGoG reserves the right to negotiate the level of premium. A process of consultation and negotiation will follow with parties that submit ideas or concepts that are of interest to HMGoG. Those concepts, ideas or proposals may need to evolve or be adapted as discussions or negotiations move forward.

Applications should include a completed Summary Sheet (available from www.lps.gi/tenders) together with outline layout plans, concept designs and letters of interest. An electronic copy of all documents should also be included as PDFs on a USB drive together with the application. The applications should be clearly marked “Aircraft Hangar Facilities” and submitted sealed and addressed to HM Government of Gibraltar and deposited in the Expressions of Interest Box situated at the offices of Land Property Services Limited, 50 Town Range, Gibraltar by NOT LATER THAN NOON ON FRIDAY 2^ND AUGUST 2024.  Envelopes will remain sealed until after the closing date. HMGoG reserves the right to reject any or all submissions.

Expressions of Interest delivered after the specified time and date will NOT be considered.
