Gibraltar is accessible by air, sea and land.

Via Air

There are regular scheduled air services to Gibraltar from London Gatwick, London Heathrow, London Luton and Manchester, all less than three hours away. The flights from the UK to Gibraltar are operated by British Airways which fly from London Heathrow Airport, easyJet, which flies from London Gatwick Airport and Monarch, which flies from London Luton Airport and Manchester airport. Charter services can also be arranged privately.

Gibraltar is also easily accessed by those wishing to fly to Malaga and Jerez airports and both can be reached by road in just over an hour.

Via Sea

Gibraltar, with its prime location at the southern tip of Europe, guarding the gateway to the Mediterranean, is an ideal port of call for cruise ships and yachts.

Gibraltar is an attractive destination that is being continuously developed – not just economically and commercially, but also from a touristic point of view. In addition, the town offers numerous modern services and Gibraltar’s international airport is opportunely only a five-minute drive from the port.

Via Land

Gibraltar is also accessible via Spain. Gibraltar adjoins the southern coast of Spain at the western end of the Mediterranean. In order to be allowed past the border into Spain you will be required to be in possession of a valid passport (except EU nationals who are in possession of a valid national identity card).

The land frontier is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Entrance to Gibraltar is free of charge and there are no limits on the number of frontier crossings that can be made. For travellers with time to explore the surrounding regions around Gibraltar, it is likewise possible to inter-rail through southern Europe.
