Post Office

The post office department has existed within the Government of Gibraltar since 1886. It maintains and, where possible, enhances existing services, adopting newer systems, technology and procedures. The Gibraltar Post Office provides normal, registered and express postal services, as well as several other services such as express mail service, post restante facilities and private P.O. boxes, available for hire.The Gibraltar Post Office is now known as the "Royal Gibraltar Post Office", the only Commonwealth or British Overseas Territory outside the United Kingdom to enjoy this distinction.
