Gibraltar is to feature for the first time in the packages offered by Spanish tour operator Iberrail. Iberrail specialises in package tours in Spain using the network of Spanish train company RENFE. The inclusion of Gibraltar in Iberrail’s destination portfolio is the direct result of the Gibraltar Tourist Board’s efforts in bringing together this company and Gibraltar’s hotels.

Gibraltar will feature in the MasTren brochure and the packages include:

• Return journeys with RENFE between Madrid and Algeciras or Ciudad Real and Algeciras with a choice of travel classes.

• Two-night bed and breakfast packages with a choice of hotels namely The Caleta Hotel, The Eliott Hotel and The Rock Hotel. Alternatively customers can ask about other accommodation options by enquiring at their travel agents.

• Options include car rental at special rates with Avis.

• Packages start at € 231 per person
